Security

• Tamper Proof Tracking
  Tracking cookies are encrypted with strong encryption. This not only prevents cookie hi-jacking by Parasite-Ware programs but eliminates tampering by visitors. Any alteration to the tracking cookie will be detectable and transactions will not be logged.
  
  
• IP Address Tracking
  For each click, lead and sale transaction that generates a commission, the IP address of the visitor that generated the transaction is saved. This allows Netfiliate to detect certain types of fraud.
  
  
• Lead & Sale Fraud Check
  Netfiliate uses special technology to help prevent affiliates from generating fraudulent leads and sales.

Tracking

• Supported Transaction Types
  Impressions, Clicks, Leads and Sales can all be tracked. Commissions can be paid on Clicks, Leads and Sales. Sale commissions can be a fixed amount or a percentage of the sale.
  
  
• Cookie-less Tracking
  Unlike other tracking systems, Netfiliate can track visitors even if they have disabled browser cookies.
  
  
• TID Support
  TID’s are Transaction Identifiers (called SID or Shopping Cart ID on some affiliate software). TID’s allow your affiliates to give a unique ID to each transaction that originates from them. They can then download exported transaction lists and use the TID’s to cross reference transaction data to their own data. Both Advertisers and Affiliates can have their own TID for each transaction making for very flexible data integration.
  
  For example, you have a affiliate that gives incentives to their users for buying products/services via your affiliate campaign. They pass a TID, which represents a unique ID for each of their users, into the system. They can now use the TID value to link each transaction made by their users back to the individual user who made the purchase, allowing them to credit the user with the incentive.
  
  
• Transaction Income Tracking
  Netfiliate can track how much income was generated for each transaction as well as how much commission was paid. This allows reporting on actual profit margins for individual campaigns, affiliates and links.

Account User Management

• Account Sub-Users
  Both Advertisers and Affiliates can create multiple “Sub Users” for their account allowing individual logins for others. Sub Users can have their access restricted to specific tools and access to data.
  
  

Transaction Management

• Custom Payout Thresholds
  You specify what commission payout thresholds to offer to your affiliates and they can pick what works for them. Netfiliate will hold your affiliate’s commissions until they reach their selected threshold.
  
  
• Color Coded Transaction Manger
  Color coding lets you quickly see the status of transactions in the transaction manager.
  
  
• Automatic Commission Invoice Generation
  Netfiliate automatically generates invoices each month on the day you specify. When new commission invoices have been generated, you’ll be notified via the Advertiser Console homepage and your affiliates will be notified via their homepage.
  
  
• Commission Invoice Tracking
  You can specify when a commission invoice has been paid. Both you and your affiliates will be able to see which invoices have been paid and which are still pending payment.
  
  
• Full Transaction History
  Netfiliate keeps track of each transactions history including when it was entered into the system, when it was accepted or declined, when it was invoiced and if it was corrected. If a transaction is corrected, it even keeps the old transaction and links the new and old one so you can see exactly what was changed and when.
  
  
• Reverse Transaction Support
  You can reverse an accepted transaction at any time to "Declined".
  
  

Linking / Creatives

• Supported Link Types
  Text, Image and Flash links are supported.
  
  
• Custom Link Redirects
  Redirects can be specified for individual links allowing links for specific products/services to take users directly to the web page for that product/service.
  
  
• Expiring Links
  Links can be set to expire on a specific date. Affiliates will receive a Netfiliate message about the link expiring 5 days and 1 day before the link expires.
  
  
• Backup Links
  Netfiliate allows you to ensure that your affiliate will never get a dead link. If an affiliate is using a link that expires or gets marked as inactive or deleted, they will see a backup link of the same dimensions if available. If there isn’t a backup link of the same dimensions, they will see a 2nd level of backup link that you can specify, the default backup link.
  
  
• Custom Redirect URLs
  You can specify a custom URL for individual links that visitors will be sent to upon clicking on that link.
  
  

Notification

• Full Email Notification
  You can choose to be notified by email when there are new affiliates pending approval or when there are new transactions pending approval. Your affiliates can also choose to be notified when they have made a lead or sale.
  
  Notifications are sent every hour and only if there are new pending affiliates/transactions since the last notification was sent so there are no duplicate notifications.
  
  

Internal Messaging System

• Overview
  Netfiliate has its own internal messaging system that works exactly like email. Its use is not required; you can choose to communicate with your affiliates via email. You and your affiliates can even have Netfiliate messages forwarded to your email account.

The affiliate only needs to put one line of HTML code on their web site and Netfiliate will rotate the links. The Affiliate can even specify “weights” to each link to make it show more or less frequently while still being random.
