What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing, also known as pay-for-performance marketing,
is one website paying a commission to another website
for sending them customers. This can include unique web visitors,
business leads or actual product/service sales. Because you
only pay commissions to affiliates which provide you with profitable
leads, there is little risk or cost associated with using Netfiliate.
Constantly finding new customers online can be difficult and time consuming.
Dealing with search engines and paying for banner ad placement
that may not provide you with even one paying customer can
be avoided as you offload this task to others.
How It Works
To creat an affiliate program, an advertiser creates a Netfiliate
advertiser account and adds advertising links to their program
making them available to their affiliates (publishers) which
place the links on their web sites, news letters or email campaigns.
When a customer clcks on one of the links they are taken to
the advertiser's web site. If they complete a lead or sale
the affiliate is credited with a commission which can be a
fixed amount or a percentage of the sale.
Netfiliate handles all tracking and reporting of click, lead
and sale transactions and generated affiliate payment reports
on a monthly, bi-monthly or weekly basis. The advertiser then
pays their affiliates by check or PayPal.
